Kelly Verpepsi is a baby drag monster in a constant cola sugar rush and in desperate need of aggression therapy. 🥤

She is known for her energetic performances in which having fun is always priority! She searches for the Free in her alter ego Freek. Think exploding heads and trowing quechua tents in the air. 

Since her drag debut two years ago she performed at several stages like Send in the Clowns at De Studio, Unicorn Festival, Theaterfestival Closing Party, Midsummer Pride, Don’t Drag my Morning Wood, Jaja Nette & Susan’s BBQ Roast & Crown Me Bitch (which she won!). Together with drag legend Electra she organizes and hosts Shakesqueer, an open minded, queer event at Gentse Feesten, creating an underground queer stage in Ghent. The last edition took place at Closing Party of Filmfestival Ghent. 

Apart from her loony and crazy performances, she creates space for drag & queer arts and tries to blend the boundaries between theatre, nightlife and drag, instead of blending her make up! The cherry on top was Queen of the Flies, a theatre/drag location performance by Camping Sunset with Kelly Verpepsi as visionair. 

Kelly often works together with costume designer Louis Verlinde on her fashion looks which are based around hardcore labour or the total womanization of objects, instead of the other way around! 💅
